The PipeWinch is designed to assist in replacing aged or damaged service laterals. This is accomplished by inserting a steel cable (wire rope) through the existing pipe and connecting one end of the cable to the PipeWinch while connecting the new pipe to be installed to the opposite end of the cable. The PipeWinch extracts the old pipe from the ground and the new replacement pipe is simultaneously pulled into place.
Two holes, one at each end of the existing pipe. Insert a cable through the pipe to be extracted.
The PipeWinch in one of the holes. Hook one end of the cable to the PipeWInch and hook the other end to the new pipe.
The old pipe out and the new pipe in. Unhook the steel cable from the new pipe, lift the machine out of the hole. Remove the center drum, and dispose of the old pipe.
The PipeWinch will pull and wrap the following types of pipe:
• Black Pipe
The powerful electric-over-hydraulic drive system found only on the PipeWinch will rip out up to 150 ft. of pipe in a single pull–while the only serviceable part you’ll find on the machine is a power-packed Honda engine.
• Streamlined Honda Engine
• Larger Drum & Capacity
• Microprocessor Controlled LED Display
• Cable-Select Technology
• Real-Time Force & Engine Feedback
